IPTV on a Samsung or LG Smart TV in the UK works through an IPTV app from the TV's own app store, where one is listed for your model, or through a Fire TV Stick or Android box connected by HDMI. Samsung TVs run Tizen and LG TVs run webOS, and the two stores list different apps. This page explains the routes and the plans.
Open the TV's app store and search for an IPTV player. Some players ask you to activate the TV once on the player's own website with a code shown on screen, and others take the log-in directly. IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV has the steps and the app routes in a table.
The LG Content Store lists its own set of players. There are two paths: an app from the store, or an external stick or box. IPTV on an LG Smart TV compares the two so you can pick one before you spend anything.
A TV from before about 2016 may have no app store worth using. A Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box brings a current app store to any TV with an HDMI port; see the Fire TV Stick page and the Android TV box buyer's guide.
Premium is used through the AromaOtt player app. Check aromaott.com for the devices it supports before choosing it for a particular TV.
Your TV's panel and your broadband decide how good the picture is. Ethernet, where the TV has a port, is steadier than Wi-Fi. See Wi-Fi or Ethernet and broadband speed.
